Can I overdose on thyroid supplements kelp?

I have been trying to make a balance on my thyroid for 5 months using 660mg/day of kelp. I have also been getting a blood test monthly but it appears to go up and down sometimes it is in balance and sometimes it is out of balance. My doc says I might be taking surplus kelp and hence it goes out of balance other way causing a more hypo condition. So, just wondering if somebody knows about overdosing on Kelp supplements with a Hypothyroid?

I have heard that taking 150mg per day of kelp, thyroid supplements will be surplus iodine and will cause it to go out of balance the other way. And your 660mg/day of kelp is quite a way too much. Just try avoiding it I mean limit your dose of kelp.

If after limiting it also doesn’t work then stop taking and try taking sea weeds or any other medical drugs for your Hypothyroid. There are many treatments are available in the market these day for thyroid medications.
